There are many scholarships available to Santa Rosa Junior College students, making SRJC highly affordable for a quality higher education. Visit SRJC's scholarships page for information about available scholarships and awards as well as scholarships specifically in the Trade Tech fields.
Advanced Manufacturing Technology: Scholarships and Internships
The Gene Haas Foundation provides financial assistance for students enrolled in the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Program here at Santa Rosa Junior College. The Gene Haas Foundation recognizes that the future of manufacturing in the United States – and around the world – depends directly upon the availability of skilled workers. The Gene Haas Foundation Scholarship Grants usually range from $500 to $1000 per year.
Advanced manufacturing internships are available year-round with many local manufacturers. Most of these internship opportunities are paid positions.
Diesel Equipment Technology Program: Scholarships and Internships
In addition to SRJC's remarkable Doyle Scholarship and other available programs, cash grants and tool set awards are given each semester to promising students in the Diesel Equipment Technology Program. Industry sponsors, such as local equipment and truck dealers and related organizations, provide these valuable gifts to students.
Summer diesel internships are available. Locally, there are usually three to six summer work opportunities. There are approximately five additional West Coast internship opportunities. These employers are always hoping to hire students that may continue with their company after graduation from the program.
