Santa Rosa Junior College's Machine Tool Technology Program is designed to prepare students for advanced entry-level employment for challenging and rewarding careers. Often called the "trade within a trade," machinist skills are vital to many industries, including robotics, agriculture, advanced manufacturing, wine production industries, aerospace, film, and electronics. In addition, the Machine Tool Technology Program leads to many employment opportunities in the machine tool trades.

SRJC's Machine Tool Technology Program provides students with the option of earning an Associate in Science Degree or a Career Certificate in Machine Tool Technology.
